Giuliani Time Is Never

Again, Keith Olbermann has saved me the task of exposing the cabrous sewer rats. This time, it's Rudy Giuliani, who threatens to run the country like he ran New York City – with fear, intimidation, bullying and monumental intellectual and fiscal corruption.

To bring you up to date, Giuliani profaned a Lincoln Day dinner in New Hampshire by saying if the Democrats win the White House in 2008, more Americans will be killed by terrorists than if he wins.

This is the lowest of the low; scummier than Cheney; and pretty much guaranteed to get this charlatan out of the race for a once-honored office. If Giuliani’s skull were one of those congressionally mandated 1.5-gallon low-flow toilets, it would take a million barrels of cleanser to get rid of the skid marks.

He dares suggest that Democrats will kill you, yet it was the Republican party in power when nearly 3,000 were killed on 9/11 and more than that killed in a war that has turned even former superpatriots like the Pat Tillman family against Bush.

Giuliani was as responsible for 9/11 as much as anyone by doing nothing to prepare his city for a repeat of the first WTC attack and leaving first responders helpless to communicate. He was stupid enough to set up a command post in the middle of the disaster, and his fascist, Mafia bloodlines showed when he proposed canceling the next mayoral election.

He won’t do it, because this vile, miserable, fear-mongering bully has never done the right thing, but he ought to save himself and his party shame by recanting, repenting and retiring from the race. The human race, too.

Anyway, KO says it better than I can. If you missed the link, here it is again.

Rudy gives me shivers. Unfaithful husband, friend of crime figures, big mouth, and now terror-monger...what's to love. The whore McCain...words fail me.

So, you would hardly be offended if someone referred to your userous, mama's-boy bloodlines, right?

Nothing like a little irrelevent ethnic slurring to spice up an otherwise stupid argument.

Of course, it's only the right-wing that hateful and mean-spirited, right? You crack me up.

Okay, on a related note, tie on your liberal thinking cap, and see if you can find what's wrong with this sentence from Harry (throw the chicken switch) Reid:

"I'm not going to get into a name-calling match with the administration's chief attack dog." Anyone see anything wrong in this sentence?

Words are free, that's why you use so many of them. If you had to pay for them, you'd be more thrifty. It's in your bloodlines.

Pardon me, correct that to "usurious."

  4. I don't throw ethnic slurs around carelessly. One can be a fascist without being Italian, and Giuliani's views on canceling elections certainly puts him in the Hall of Fame of American crypto-fascists, at least.

As for the Mafia, I recognize Italian-American sensitivities here, since most are upstanding citizens who can be unfairly tarred.

However, there is evidence that Rudy's father was a low-level hood for the organized crime syndicate led by Italian-surnamed gentlemen and that his police chief was tied to organized crime.

In recommending to the White House that Bush appoint Bernard Kerik as head of "homeland security" (as fascist a term as ever devised) without even vetting him, Giuliani showed his true background.

Thus, no ethnic slurring. Just saying, if the Gucci fits, wear it.
