Alaska Gov. Nuckingfutz, in accepting David Letterman's apology, somehow tied her family's loose morals with our troops, many of whom would have sex with anything that moves.
Said Nuckingfutz: “This is all thanks to our U.S. Military women and men putting their lives on the line for us to secure America’s Right to Free Speech - in this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect.”
Just to be clear about my view: No military person has put his or her life on the line to defend my free speech; not since August of 1945. Not a single U.S. military adventure since then has anything to do with securing our freedom, but plenty of them have endangered it.
And many so-called conservatives, and boobs like the governor, have done their best to take everyone's right to free speech away.
