Seasons in the Sun

How drab must it be to live in a Sunbelt clime where it is always sunny, 75 degrees and rainless. Here are two example of what makes the annoyance of heat, humidity, wind, snow and ice tolerable.

This is a good opportunity to introduce Loyal Readers to the blog of my niece Kate, who has taken up residence in San Diego, and whom I invite to comment on such a noncontroversial topic as the weather.
