Hillary Rodham Nixon?

To supplement Brian F.'s comment to my last post ---

It is the sum of anecdotes I keep reading about Hillary that adds up to a great fear on my part that even if electable, she would not be able to govern.

An interesting take is George Packer's "The Choice" from a recent New Yorker Magazine, in which he does give her credit for maturing some in the Senate. Nevertheless, it is clear that even her friends don’t like her.

Another piece by McClatchy News Service, a highly regarded unbiased outlet that exposed the WMD charade, finally answers the curious and previously unquestioned canard that she has 35 years of “experience.”

When you get right down to it, Obama has more elective experience than she does, eight years in the senate of a large state and three in Washington, compared to her seven in Washington.

It is my considered opinion that while a dyed-in-the-wool progressive, Hillary Clinton has the personality of Richard Nixon – reared ugly, driven to achievement and perfection, lacking in social skills, secretive, paranoid and self-defeating even when right. Especially when right.
