Hoover, Damn!

Now that we have learned what should be, but is not really, shocking news that J. Edgar Hoover wanted to round up and imprison 12,500 Americans whose loyalty he suspected back in 1950, maybe it's time Congress removed his name from the FBI Building, the ugliest piece of neofascist architecture in the Nation's Capital.

If they truly want to honor him, they could put his name on the First Ladies' dress collection at the Smithsonian. Or maybe the Hoover vacuum, with its massive sucking prowess, is even more apt.
